Eating Women @MOViE MOViE

They’re out there, sharing the same night and basking in the same moon glow as you are, regularly gathering at an old, traditional Japanese house in Tokyo which they call the “Mochi House.” The owner, Tonko is an essayist who runs a used bookstore out of her home. She spends her days cooking up deliciously simple dishes in her kitchen and feeding them to her women friends. What women friends? Well, they include an editor trying her hardest to avoid men at all costs, a restaurant matron with a dangerous addiction to young men, a body parts model and mother of two who has recently separated from her husband, a television assistant producer bored with her overly doting boyfriend, a used clothing brand worker who can’t refuse any man, a wife whose husband has left her simply because she can’t cook, and a bar maiden with the fortitude to remain forever devoted to one man. What they all have in common is a passion for good food, and the joy it brings them in relieving daily life stress. So these vibrant women, full of love and passion, prepare once again to gather for a delicious celebration of food and life.
